a lot of the western and north/northeastern counties here have had watches and warnings out because of all the storms going through those areas. not much happening here...could use some rain.

Looks like this is going to be what use to be call a "frog strangler". With any luck it will get in and out of here fast producing minimal damage.

Yeah, lost my pavillion too, my neighbor lost hers as well. In my case the force was strong enough to break a railing on my deck. A tree fell on my girlfriend's house

Last evening when I looked out front at the start of the storm, the wind really kicked up and a bunch of vinyl siding flew by. The power went off about 7:10 p.m. and is still off. I don't think our house had any damage.

really a wild and crazy...very fast moving storm came through here.
the only damage i had was a tea cup and saucer planter that i had on the deck...blew off and broke...i'm gluing it back together this afternoon. my stupid...stupid neighbor next door did not take her flag down...hasn't taken it down in over a year...i've warned her so many times especially recently because it was bent. needless to say...it's now laying across the cable and met ed boxes...snapped at the base. she called met ed this am and told them that it had to be taken off the boxes...she wasn't touching it. sheesh!
she also has three huge pine trees that are dying and very brown...says it's too expensive to have them taken down. believe me...the woman can afford it. i guess she's waiting until they crash on her neighbor's house to have anything done. her neighbor even offered to go halves with her to have them taken down...she refused. her neighbor is really worried about the upcoming storms we'll be having. a few limbs came down yesterday evening.

Some of the houses around here had molding (not siding) torn off. There were a few tree limbs down. I suspect the weakest tree limbs came down in that ice storm last winter; there probably aren't many weak ones left still attached.

Why does it seem like the world is ending lately with the weather? Yesterday as I drove home I saw trees down, there was torrential rain and power outages. Give us a break Mother Nature.
