Enjoyed having your governor visit with us here n Mississippi last night... he was a big hit... here's one comment with regard to his visit:
"One of the best Keynote Speakers I can ever remember. Love Gov. O'Malley's approach to problem solving, which appears to statistically result in positive results."
Thanks...

O'Malley's approach to problem solving statistically results in the positive lightening of the citizens of Maryland's wallets. Did his speech contain one of those holier-than-thou "I-have-seen-the-mountain-top" endings where he looks out over the crowd, head back, eyes focused on that shining city on the hill in the distance?

We enjoyed having him visit as well, because that meant he was there and not here.
The only statistic Martin O'Malley understands is spelled T-A-X. It can't even rain for free anymore up here in the (excuse the expression) Free State.

No, that was Ronald Reagan...

O'Malley could take any of you in a fight. We'll never know. Like most government folks he surrounds himself with hired lackeys packing heat. He only bullies with his political powers, so the dirty work is left to the hired help.

I still remember a few years back just after O'Malley called a special session of the legislature together to address funding shortfalls. The legislature raised the sales tax by 20%. O'Malley boasted that they'd lowered taxes for 95% of Marylanders. And he said it with a straight face... So you can keep him, and I hope he "lowers" your taxes, too. Maybe he'll even give you the privilege of paying a tax on the rain... (I'm not kidding.)

Some democrats, looking for alternatives to Hillary Clinton, may consider him. It's been already established that many voters are easily duped by beautiful speeches with no substance and no follow-through.

Judging by the histrionics on display by the righties here and from the insults that they are flinging around, I'm guessing that this Martin O'Malley is a bit of a liberal, right?

I think the term is progressive, you know progressively less freedom, and progressively more taxes. Nothing liberal about that.

O'Malley could take any of you in a fight. No doubt because of his rippling biceps.
