"Thirty-nine percent of respondents to the Pew poll say they don’t trust Limbaugh, a bombastic conservative radio voice. Fox News follows closely with 37 percent saying they don’t trust the network. Glenn Beck ranks third, with 24 percent of respondents saying they distrust Beck.
As for the rest:
• 45 percent of the claims made on NBC and MSNBC rate Mostly False, False or Pants on Fire;
• 38 percent of the claims made on CBS rate Mostly False, False or Pants on Fire;
• 36 percent of the claims made on ABC rate Mostly False, False or Pants on Fire;
• 22 percent of the claims made on CNN rate Mostly False, False or Pants on Fire.
For the record, 82 percent of the claims we've checked from Limbaugh have been rated Mostly False, False or Pants on Fire.www.politifact.com/punditfact/article/2014/oct/21/pew-study-finds-rush-limbaugh-least-trustworthy-ne/

Limbaugh is a pundit, not a journalist. Anyone tuning into his show for "news" is barking up the wrong tree because accuracy in reporting is not his primary concern.

Well, he does claim to be "always almost right" 99% of the time... and "almost right" means one isn't completely right, doesn't it?...

And I'd imagine that there is just enough accuracy so as not to be out-and-out lying. He plays to a core of listeners and he does it very effectively. People don't turn into Rush Limbaugh for news; they do so more for reaffirmation of their world views.

But don't tell him that... he claims to be "the most influential man in America"... He's only influential if people take him seriously. We've had several posters on here who seem to hang on his every word. Political pundits don't care if people agree with them or not; all they're after is getting people to tune in.

One advantage of not having cable is not being able to get Beck or the similar Aholes on MSNBC and the rest of those so called slanted "news" shows.

People that know politifact trust it even less than they trust MSNBC.

Well, it seems that the obsession with the Tea Party is over. Haven't seen any threads in a while about That menace. Oh well, I suppose 'any port in a storm' still works as long as Limbaugh and the Koch Brothers are still around. In the old days the genuine socialists always derided the Bourgeois (middle class). But that no longer works since America is 99% "middle class" now. Us few proletariat's left find it lonely.

How do you know who these respondents were?... Do you think Pew asked, oh let's say, the Peruvians their view of America's media networks?

Frankly even though I do not listen to any of the above mentioned pundits, given the democrats lying non stop for the last 7 years I would say that this thread is also a lie, more likely the exact opposite is true and Rush is the source of all truth in the universe. That's usually a pretty good assumption when "Politifact" is reporting. Someone really ought to do a study on their claims. My guess is that more than 60% of the claims made on Politifact would rate mostly false, false, or pants on fire.

But don't tell him that... he claims to be "the most influential man in America"... Influence has nothing to do with truth. Only the perception thereof. Look at how many Democrats still think Obama knows what he's doing.

So, why would anyone be surprised that they "find" conservatives untrustworthy?
