The trees you get there were cut in September or early October. They will dry out quickly. That's why I cut my own when I put one up.

yes the trees aren't there yet but it's odd to see the sales lot this early, no where else this early that I have seen.

Nothing better than a prelit tree... so much easier!!

Home Depot and Lowes have their Christmas decorations out. It's a conspiracy, I say, after all, one never sees Ramadan fasting decorations out this early.

Pre lit and artificial tree for me and a lot smaller than the old live tree. I'm happy

I took the old 6 1/2' artificial tree to Goodwill. Haven't used it in about 5 years.
We set up a little 2 footer on a drum table in the living room, it serves us well.

I'll keep getting live trees until I can't cut them any more. Then I'll go pre-lit artificial.

I splashed out and bought an expensive but very realistic artifical tree 14 years ago. It will need a little ingenious repairing if I use it again this year as two of the branches became detached last year when putting it away, if that doesn't work, I figure that it has more than paid for itself and be allowed to go to the great Christmas Tree forest in the sky.
