Well, the "social justice" movement has just shamed itself. It is neither social, nor about justice.

Get ready for the World Series of outrage.
I can agree somewhat with those who claim that an open and transparent public trial would have been better all around. But you don't have trials simply for appearances' sake, and you certainly don't have trials to placate those who go into a purple snit any time they don't get their way.

Police work is incredibly dangerous and now it seems that the news media and the president expect police officers to place the lives of criminals above those of their own or other law abiding citizens. Mr. Brown was getting into a physical altercation with someone authorized to use lethal force; this is not a bright thing to do.
It's not the law that needs fixed, its the people who think they can steal what they want, and disrespect authority - how and when they want, and expect no consequences for their actions. But the news is leading me to believe I'm the only one on the planet who feels this way. But I guess if a police officer doesn't come home to his family one night, not too many people will know anyway; we'll be too busy discussing more important issues like what Dr. Phil thinks of Honey Boo Boo's mom.

Those elements of the "civil rights" movement that think looting and burning buildings are an appropriate response to real justice also need fixed.

I heard a discussion this morning and it was suggested that this should never have gone to the grand jury.

I heard a discussion this morning and it was suggested that this should never have gone to the grand jury. It wouldn't have if the race hustlers hadn't gotten so far ahead of it with their malicious lies about what happened. The DA would have reviewed it, concluded that the shooting was completely justified - just as the grand jury has - and that would have been the end of it. The grand jury only became necessary in order to attempt to appease the racist mob calling itself a 'civil rights movement'.

I heard a discussion this morning and it was suggested that this should never have gone to the grand jury. They really had little choice - the outrage would have been severe and extreme. The prosecutor was handcuffed by the hustlers and media, no choice but to put all of the evidence into the public eye.

I heard a discussion this morning and it was suggested that this should never have gone to the grand jury. Then they would have only had one person to crucify... and not just the DA... These people don't want justice... they want revenge... I heard Donna Brazile (political activist) call Brown's killing a murder yesterday before the decision was released... I also heard Don Lemon (CNN) say everybody was expecting an indictment before the decision was released... of course, both are Black... if that sounds racist... it's because it sure seems to be...

Taking it to the GJ was to get a broader perspective... you know what they would have done to the DA had he made the decision all by himself... he did the right thing

Under normal circumstances, the GJ wouldn't have been necessary; because under normal circumstances, intelligent people wouldn't be questioning how and why Michal Brown got himself shot for attacking a cop.

Finally a thread on this subject(you should see the "old" boards) where there is reasonable discussion between those on the left and right, and middle.
Thank you, to all of you.

Donna Brazile has to be one of the racist people ever allowed to write editorials for the left. The Easton Star Democrat has her hatefull spewing several times a week.

The last time I went back there that forum had gone sharply downhill. Extremely vitriolic discussions. They let them do whatever they like, apparently including flame wars.
