Our's has been giving us trouble for months. Sometimes prints, then don't. Need to find one that uses the ink we have. Got a double pack from Sam's.

FWIW I just printed out the config page of my HP LaserJet 4000 printer I've had for over 15 years. It's printed out a total of 54,098 up to now... I don't think they make that model any more. One of the reasons I bought that one is it understands PostScript.

You might want to check with Epson... I got a new all-in-one a couple of weeks ago... it was $50 cheaper than the same printer at Walmart... but no sales tax and they shipped it FREE...
Epson WF 2630... $80

One of the reasons I bought that one is it understands PostScript. The HP LaserJet 4000/4050 are great printers and unfortunately long discontinued. The most common issue I encountered with them at work was the tray 2 feed roller getting worn and needing replaced. Also, trying to print a complex pdf file using the postscript driver would sometimes crash the print job but the same pdf printed fine on the PCL driver. I have commonly seen about 12,000 pages printed on a single toner cartridge, especially if you shake it when it's almost out of toner. There is still a 4050 operating where I work now.

The price of an ink cartridge (colors) for my old Epson 610 printer was around $18 at Office Depot... bought directly from Epson... with free postage... it was around $13... for my new Epson printer, it's around $8...

Ink prices are insane. This new unit is almost 200 bucks reg price , but on holiday sale for 80 bucks.
The damn inks are 36 bucks each which are consumable items,, grrrrr
It was the same for our current unit we're retiring.

I LOVE my archaic HP C3100 series. Old school but so am I, it dies I get another on Ebay or wherever. Keep using the same cartridges over and over via refill, color....... don't care, greyscale GTG. If it ain't broke, don't **** with it. Newer laptops don't always work with it..... something we're figuring out.
