We got about 4 to 5 inches! Not enough for a snow day!! EY... I blame the lack of snow on you and your @%&* snow blower!! His anti-snow machine has got to go. There might be a 110/220v switch on the back; flip it to 220 and poof. Agreed.... we must find it and destroy it!!

One month closer to spring. In a few weeks we will hopefully experience a few of those "teaser" days in March with upper 50 low 60 temps. Time to start some seeds inside.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory that took effect Wednesday morning and remains in effect until 1 a.m. Thursday for much of central Maryland. Wind chill watches and warnings are also in effect Wednesday evening into Thursday. 11 Insta-Weather PLUS Meteorologist Ava Marie said snow showers are possible after 4 and 5 p.m. that could bring a quick coating of about 1 or 2 inches of snow to the Baltimore area. www.wbaltv.com/weather/snow-in-forecast-this-afternoon/31335838

intellicast is predicting 5" - 8" of snow for my area (northern part of the state) for tomorrow. Then temperatures sharply rising on Sunday to 40s, perhaps with rain. Hopefully that will wash it all away.
Off to turn the anti-snow machine up a notch!

It finally came and I'm on the wrong side of the Atlantic. Guess I'll have to settle for the gale force winds blowing in off of this side of the Atlantic today bringing in sporadic sheets of heavy rain. At least my bulbs should have a good start for the spring.

Must have fallen more heavily in the south. We got about 6" in the northern part of the state, and it is melting with reckless abandon now. Let's hope this was winter's last great act of defiance before it hits the road for another year.
By 10:00am all the roads up here were essentially clear to pavement. Some parking lots still slushy and some side streets looked bad. Most folks' driveways are clear.

It's back to being unpleasantly cold here, but the sun is out and the snow is melting slowly. That's how I prefer it melt, so that people with flooding problems don't get screwed.
