If the glitch isn't "fixed" by 15 Apr, I wonder how many will get hit with late penalties? The IRS won't want to hear "The Puppet TOLD me not to file".

People need a stern reminder of what happens when they invite the government further into their lives. Realistically though, the only ones who will be penalized will be the ones the IRS can link to the Tea Party, GOP, or anyone else on the Chicago Jesus' enemies list.

The sad part of this is that by the time these people who were cheered by "free or inexpensive" health care realize that they are responsible for penalties on their 2014 taxes, it's already too late to change their behavior and are already in violation for 2015 - when the penalties increase by 100%. I'm confused why an administration would go out of it's way to annoy the very citizens who were supporting you? Pissing of productive and the capable would make sense, and maybe gain some political points; but annoying those most in need of a wealth transfer seems counter intuitive.

Although on the ObamaCare (TM) system it might appear as an ampersand.

Making people buy insurance was supposed to offset the subsidies others got. There is sure to be a loss somewhere.

I'm surprised about no posts regarding the continuing saga of the ACA and how no one seems to agree on what the darn thing says! The Supremes must really loathe this stuff! Spend their careers in attempting to become respected jurists only to be dragged into a political sand box.

It looks like the USSC is going to break on partisan lines, too. That should produce some nice controversy.

It looks like the USSC is going to break on partisan lines, too. That should produce some nice controversy. It will. But it shouldn't. "Created by a state" isn't a difficult phrase to understand. Unless you're a hyper-partisan Democrat. The law says what it says. And it was clearly written that way for a reason.

An alternative is that the court could decide the law is wrong as written but delay striking it to give Congress a chance to fix it. Whereupon the TEA Party will do everything it can to ensure the Republicans lose 2016, badly. Should be amusing to watch.

Doing everything they said they would do, doesn't strike me as a road to failure. In a lot of ways the Tea Party has won the last two mid-terms.

Repealing Puppettax would be a great thing for the country. Impeaching The Puppet would, as well, but that will never happen.

The Democrats will paint them as the party that cost all those people their subsidies, and it will work. The Republicans aren't trusted, which is a big part of why they have trouble getting their message out.
