Do they cut the gas with ethanol like most here do? I miss the days of borrowing 115/145 as a self awarded pay raise. Don't ever use ethanol in small engines like lawn mowers and motorcycles... if they aren't run regularly it will clog the carburetor... I found that out the hard way... Only if the engine has any rubber or plastic parts in the fuel system... A.D., And I've never heard of 115/145 having ethanol in it. Nor even 100LL...

Sorry, A.D., wrong AGAIN... An imperial gallon is 1.201 US gallons (to the nearest 1,000th of a gallon), not 1.5 gallons... Perhaps your calculator is spinning the calculation... Sorry, aponderer... that should have been "1.2 U S gallon"... the "5" is just above the "2" on my keypad and I failed to proof read... I do make mistakes... so I must be human after all, huh?... Here's where I got the info: The U.S. liquid gallon and the U.S. dry gallon are different units defined by different means. The U.S. liquid gallon is defined as 231 cubic inches and equates to approximately 3.785 litres. One imperial gallon is equivalent to approximately 1.2 U.S. liquid gallons. Now you need a picture of my keyboard?... Next time use your diddle finger on your keyboard; it's probably better at pressing the right button...

Don't forget that a dollar is only worth about 65 pence (.65 pound). Do they cut the gas with ethanol like most here do? I miss the days of borrowing 115/145 as a self awarded pay raise. I believe that standard unleaded has 5% ethanol and super unleaded has none. I use diesel in my car, I don't know if that has any or not.

I was able to get about 6 months of near constant use......... valves and pistons were severely crystallized, head warped and cylinder walls scored...... it wasn't pretty. Dr. Oldsmobile didn't make its Rocket engines for that stuff and that was with cutting each tank with a gallon of Mil-H-5606B. A bit of shadetree and a coupe hundred $$$ machine work patched it up enough to get a few more miles out of it before it gave up the ghost.

Both my 4x4 Silverado and Japsucky 4Runner seem to do pretty well with the cheap stuff as do my generator and baby Deere.

$ 1.73 here today... but are you ready for this?... $1 .59 in Pelahatchie, MS this morning... $ 1.60 is the lowest I recall having seen since Obama has been in office... not that he has had anything directly to do with the price of gasoline at the pump... (just a time frame)...
Make that $ 1.71 here...
