Obama telling lies is hardly news any longer. It's "just another day at the office" for him, really.
What surprises the hell out of me is the degree to which progressives tolerate him, when he continually betrays their goals. He's *expected* to oppose all Republican goals, especially in this age of deep polarization. But progressive goals? It's like he forgot all about his roots.

(State of The Union)... do you have any idea how many of those "promises" he kept?... do you know how many campaign "promises" Barack Obama made in '07 and '11?... do you know how many of those "promises" have been kept?... were they really campaign promises?... do we now require presidents to keep ALL their campaign promises?... or only the Black ones?... or did Obama run a campaign based on "hope and change"?... Just curious but if Trump were to win... what would he have to accomplish to "make America great again"?... and a lot of the other GOP candidates sure are making a lot of campaign "promises" already... you writing 'em all down?... |

(I think it already is great)... I've been around long enough to know that candidates say a lot of things to get people to vote for them... not many of their "promises" or "hopes" are written down... (like Clintons were in '91... 193)... and kept a watch on to see how they did... (unless they're Democrats... or Black)... |
