moses, THIS is what a completed gas well looks like: It about twice the size of a fire hydrant. Do you really need me to post photos of a park restroom for comparison? Twice the size of a fire hydrant?

Twice the size of a fire hydrant? Oh good for you. You found a really large one. Based on the steps and fence, I'm guessing it's about 8-10 feet tall. And would still probably go entirely unnoticed in a park maintenance area, or in some remote area no one ever visits.

I'm about as angry as them as I am at stinkbugs....Smelly nuisance, no real damage.... Dude. Those friggin stink bugs are even up here in ak. They are taking over the world. You don't want to compare someone you are trying to insult with stink bugs! I think the stink bugs are winning. Unlike hippies, stinkbugs have a work ethic!!

If Americans were okay paying high prices for things they can get for lower prices, no one would know the name Wal-Mart. The problem is that much of the oil available here is feasible to extract only at current prices. Drop them, and it becomes easier to get the mineral slime from the Middle East. But let them keep climbing, and Americans will support putting a derrick on the White House lawn. Honestly, that's the first place I'd like to see a new one!!

Vosa What the heck? Are these your boards? There's a certain group in here that sure feel like this their private abode. Questioning posters about who they are. Why don't you just let what happen here, happen. I mean how serious is this? Not my boards. Not my private abode. But people who post here ought not think that they can post any kind of bovine excrement that pops, or is placed, into their heads and have said pronouncements go unchallenged. If someone posts a statement and can't back it up with a link to a reliable source or refuses to defend their assertions when questioned then they can expect to be called on it and appropriately identified as a weasel worder, a tap dancer, an evader, etc., etc. And as Harry Truman said "If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen."

No you didn't, I did. And Howarewe is correct. Evidently the board allows a new poster to post in a previous poster "box". Shouldn't be allowed. Probably just start up problems. Anyway I hope so. Or mabe we should change the name of the board to Obamacare Lives On.

If you don't put the cursor in the correct place, a response will end up as quoted text.

Given how Obozo has made the USA into the laughing stock of this planet, it doesn't surprise me.

I am not sure what this is. Can you explain, please? You have the "preview" view of a new post as the default view. If you don't put the cursor in the correct place, a response will end up as quoted text. This is true of the old board as well, and of this one if you go to the BBCode pane. You can move the cursor inside someone else's quote if you're of a mind to engage in that sort of falsehood. On most message boards, doing this will earn you some kind of disciplinary response.

It's about 2/3 of the way down the page as "posting default." I don't remember changing that setting when I joined MsTaken's board, but that was a while ago.

Her board started with an earlier version of the software. I'm not sure the Preview pane was even available in that version.
You can still move the cursor inside the [ quote ] tags and change what other people apparently wrote.

You can still move the cursor inside the [ quote ] tags and change what other people apparently wrote. I found it has an annoying habit if you try to post in preview mode. If you backspace to wipe out a mistake, it takes you inside the quote box. You can't get out except to leave the page altogether then go back in. I changed my default to BBCode. I'm used to that.
