Warm air to yield multiple 80-degree days in northeastern US this week As the unofficial start to summer approaches this week, the longest stretch of warmth so far this year will surge into the northeastern United States. The warm surge will yield multiple days of highs in the 80s across most of the Northeast and mid-Atlantic. "Summerlike warmth will gradually move into the Northeast this week," AccuWeather Meteorologist Steve Travis said, "however, it will be delayed at the start of the week by a slow-moving storm that will keep cooler air entrenched along the Eastern Seaboard." "Winds will shift out of the southwest on Wednesday, which will transport much warmer air into the region, sending high temperatures in the 80s for many areas through the end of the week," Travis said. The second half of the week will bring the longest stretch of warmth to the Northeast and mid-Atlantic and could rival the days from earlier this spring as the warmest so far this year. The warmth will expand into New York City as Fleet Week activities ramp up. "Temperatures will even approach 90 F in parts of the mid-Atlantic at late week," AccuWeather Meteorologist Ed Vallee said. www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/summer-warmth-northeastern-us-memorial-day/57589566

pay closer attention to the night time tempts, instead of 40's & 50's, we will move into the 50's & 60's as lows. consistently warm, weather, finally I guess.

It was an excellent time. Changed our minds and did other things instead. Was much better hanging at the inn right on the river and having quiet time.

we have been enjoying our weekends on a small lake in Fayetteville, pa. Bought a cabin in a campground it's been fun kayaking fishing and relaxing in this 4 person float with coolers and just floating in the water. Got the son out to play tennis and basketball first time he did anything outside with his chemo wiping him out.

Very tired he did apply for a job at a local farmers market he can walk to. We will see I don't think he has the stamina to work more then 2 to 4hrs if he would get the job. We pulled him out of school back in February so he didn't pass 10th grade. Have to do a GED

So how was the boating? Do they charge much to rent a boat at the lake? I have friends that are in Deep Creek right now and she text me to tell me they charge anywhere from $450.00 to $600.00 per day for pontoon rental depending on the model/engine you get. Yikes!!
I should take mine up and rent it for a few days!!
