If Flynn's lawyers are worth a penny, they will petition to have all the charges against him thrown out, and demand that the government repay him all of his expenses. This was a witch hunt from the get go, and they basically used the power of the Federal government to bankrupt Flynn, and force a confession, because he was out of money to keep fighting. This was a travesty of justice, and Flynn should sue everyone involved for every penny he's out. Each.

It's a cancer on the Mueller investigation as well as the FBI. It no longer seems unreasonable that the whole Mueller probe is just one giant conspiracy to deprive members of the Trump administration of their civil rights. Especially when you fold in the abuse of the FISA court to wiretap Carter Page.

Especially when you fold in the abuse of the FISA court to wiretap Carter Page. The whole thing is a travesty. The unmasking of American citizens, the illegal spying on political opponents, the fake dossier used to prosecute, all of it should have a judge simply throw all charges against anyone brought by Mueller out of court, with prejudice. Any and all "evidence" that Mueller claims is poisoned, because the underlying activities by the DOJ were illegal. Therefore, all "evidence" was illegally obtained. Flynn should file counter charges against everyone involved, and sue them into bankruptcy.

Abuse of the FISA Court, RJ? You're drinking too much of the alt-right kool aid. I hope you can join the real world and face reality some day soon. However, given your narrow-minded, biases, unthinking partisan mindset, I know it'll never happen. I feel sorry for you, little man, living in your own made-up world where wrong is right and fiction is truth.

I think MSNBC is too far right for PAM. He needs something less pro-Trump and less in touch with reality. Does commondreams.com still exist?

Why, RJ? It still hasn't been completely discredited, regardless of what your alt-right and ultra-right sources claim. It was known to the court that the research had been paid for by a political party.
Keep grasping for straws while the bubble breaks.
What are you going to do this time next year when the Democrats control Congress? Maybe you can move out west and help Jefferson become a state.

So your standard for presenting evidence of probable cause to a court is that "it hasn't been completely discreited"? You're such a partisan that "salacious and unverified" information (Comey's description) is fine if it implicates your political opponents? Wow. You just keep on making the case that the Democrats belong no where near any real power. Your ideas are remarkably fascist. They clearly have nothing to do with justice, or election meddling. They're just about "getting" Trump and punishing enemies. How disgraceful.

Why do you presume that the dossier -- which has not been discredited -- was the only evidence presented against Page? You should read other sources, sources beyond the Nunes memo, especially since Nunes never read the FISA applications to really know what was in them. Of course, I don't think your unthinking partisanship and realiance on extreme and alt-right sources to allow you to think independently and consider other sources of information.

The FBI testified (I think McCabe) that without the Steele Dossier they wouldn't have been able to get the warrant. It was the cornerstone of the warrant. You need to read beyond MSNBC.

You need to read beyond you alt-right talking points. To conclude that a FISA warrant was issued solely on the basis of the dossier shows how ignorant of the entire court process you are. There's a lot more information needed. In addition, the warrant was reissued 3 times, and new information must be presented for the renewal. Rosenstein signed off on one renewal.
You want to try again?

Only by the far right and alt-right members like you, BB, who have no idea of what truth and real facts entail. Stop listening to Fox and Breitbart and look for some reputable news sources. I know you'll complain about anything I mention, so instead just search the web, turn the TV dial, and listen to other viewpoints. You might learn something for a change.

Now, you can go ahead and believe there's still some treasure trove of information that the FBI/Mueller have on Page but haven't told anyone about 2 years later, and completely ignore the reality that Page hasn't been charged with anything. But that would be idiotic.

Even your hero, Comey, admitted it was "salacious and unverified". They have had over a year, and have yet to 'verify' a single accusation in it, except that Page went to Russia. Period. Not to mention the fact that they are supposed to be investigating "collusion", but have not even opened a file on the treason that The Felon and the DNC committed. They actually paid Russians to make up the dossier in an attempt to sway a US election. The Felon spent 4 years giving Putin all the classified info he could want, and who knows who the Awans sold the info they collected as "IT experts" to Party of the KKK idiots.

So, because it hasn't been COMPLETELY discredited, at least in the diseased and subnormal minds of the LR media, it's valid evidence? Nothing in the dossier has been verified, except the fact that Page went to Russia. Not that he did anything nefarious, just that he went to Russia, in the normal course of his business. That means the FBI used unverified sources to get a FISA warrant to spy on American citizens. IOW, they ruined any chance they ever had of bringing charges, since any and all evidence they might find is tainted because they used a tainted source to get the warrant. As for Nunes, how do you know he never read the FISA applications? More leaks from Schiff for brains?

So how does Nunes know what's really in the warrant application(s)? Is what he wrote in his memo accurate? Given that he must have gotten information about the application 2nd or 3rd hand or worse, how can he actually know what's there?

Given that he must have gotten information about the application 2nd or 3rd hand or worse, how can he actually know what's there? What Nunes wrote in the report was based on sworn testimony from Andrew McCabe. Hardly a 2nd or 3rd hand source. You know, it's weird that you would be concerned about 2nd or 3rd hand sources, as the best information in the Steele Dossier was 2nd and 3rd hand and anonymous. Most was likely completely fabricated, which is why it hasn't been verified.

No. McCabe CLAIMS Nunes mischaracterized things about McCabe and the Dossier. Of course McCabe just got canned for lying, and for being a hopeless partisan so he isn't the most credible source.
