New technology improves the military and it trickles down to the general public it time. As it has with sooooo many other programs in the past. Speaking as someone who cut his teeth in that industry, defense contractors are incredibly corrupt and inefficient. More vital stuff comes from the civilian side of things, for less expense.

And if we're going to do something with the military, how about let's give greater credence to what the generals want and not concern ourselves in whose district the hardware is built.

The generals want "more." There, now you know. It's the politicians that start the wars, they are ones who determine how things go.

There is a whole list of nations to use this on, and the list is long. The funds are already in place for development. How dare you Champ you should know better this money should be wasted er I mean "invested" on more failed liberal social welfare programs to further crush the middle class and make the obama's friends richer. National defense!?!? Silly boy the smartest man ever to walk the earth has fixed all that already, haven't you heard? Maybe they take all that money and use it to fix a website, know any that are a total f-ing joke that needs help?

You got that right I was brought in on a USDA contract specifically to waste money. I have proof and was fired when I tried to bring it to light.

One who has grown weary of the burgeoning debt we're leaving or progeny. Welfare is welfare, whether it goes to poor people or rich defense contractors. There's no military need for such a beast.

I'd prefer neither. I don't care who's doing the wasting, I want it stopped.

How? We need a Mach 6 drone to catch flying carpets? Well I do recall they were talking hyper speed travel, most everything high tech is either military or space derivative. You know that quite well, the box lunch was invented in 1936 as part of the C-47. Hey! The box lunch is as old as the world's oldest profession...

Correction: P-38, not P-39... Did you have a handy dandy TL-29? or a I've got a friend who does. It's for working with the Dzus fasteners that hold the cowling on his Stearman. Since you're an Eastern Shore boy - the dedication for the Dover museum's brand new and worn out C-5A is tomorrow morning at 10 AM.

I was there yesterday............ $470.00 lighter but I got a TON of food at the commissary so won't be going back! I used dzus on E-1's, E-2's and C-118 cowlings. Camloc's were MUCH nicer! Fortunately I wasn't with Willy Fudds long, old assed pos!
