I do appreciate the technology but there was something fun about going into a video store, looking at all of the movies on the wall. My boys picking out their movies and me picking out ours. I don't know, it's like the difference between holding a real book or picking um my Kindle. Trouble was, there were so few movies worth watching (at least for adults) more than half the time I came home empty handed. P.S. And were they ever greedy! It's been a pleasure to watch them dry up. Your post brought back memories thanks. But it did get us out of the house, a bit of physical movement, some social contact, I wonder how our lack of physical face to face encounters will do to society as the digital world takes over our homes.

The Blockbuster in Hamilton always smelled like bum pee. They were expensive, unforgiving and always willing to believe the worst about a customer. Sorry to read that Video Americain is or is going out of business as well.

It was like the prelude for the evening-- lets all got to Blockbuster, roam about to pick a movie, then order Chinese! Picking a movie to stream, or from FIOS drop-downs, just isn't the same!

Or gone and sat at the cheerleaders table at the lunch room in high school. You guys back each other up and Are like a little team here. Weird.

I didn't come here for friends. There are people here I wouldn't even want to be seen with or associated with in any way besides casual social networking on these forums. That being said I have actually made a few friends from the forums. We keep in touch. I don't have to deal with this kind of crap from them either. There actually truly nice people. Through and through.

Through and through. I'm not the one complaining about people sticking up for each other on this forum. I'm not saying anything about making friends - if you believe people are ganging up on you by being nice and supportive to each other, you may need to think about that. People have friends-- and if people believe their friends are being unfairly attacked, they stand up for them.

No I was the one accurately pointing out that yes there is a lgang of people in here that gang up on people and they're like a bunch of chattering magpies. Go to the old sunspot forum. There's a whole bunch of posters that won't even come over here because they are tired of it.

Who's being "ganged up on?" I was talking to someone else, ringleader. Oops did I say that? If I'm a "ringleader," it certainly wouldn't be hard for you to point out the numerous times that I've "ganged up" on anyone, would it? I'm sure, too, that you can point out in the TOS where it's against the rules for a poster to respond to another post without it being directed specifically at him or her, right?

Yawn. You know if there was some redeeming value here if you were like funny or clever witty or something I would enjoy this.
