It sounds like you believe that when people make mistakes, they should not pay a price for that. Don't you think there should be a disincentive for making poor choices? Better still, if you've told somebody that a series of events would happen if they made certain choices, they told you that you don't know what you're talking about and to crap in your hat, and those very things you warned would happen did - there's no sense of satisfaction to be gained?

When people make mistakes, like supporting Obamacare, it's nice to see them actually have to pay the price for their foolishness. When people pay the price for their mistakes they tend not to make 'em again. This woman's going to think twice before she believes a Democrat in the future - and that's good for all of us. You call it sick, I call it fair play. As I said, sick! So which is she, sick, stupid or both?

There are few things in life as pleasing as watching a clueless partisan get slapped in the face by reality. Noticeably all the nasty. sick comments and wishes are coming from the righties, you should all be proud of yourselves. As someone said, be careful what you wish for. I didn't do anything to her, she helped Obama do it to us AND herself. So as they say in OlMexico, El Tougho Crapo

Don't you think there should be a disincentive for making poor choices? That is an entirely different stance than you and your friends revelling in someone else's pain or loss, "schadengasm" indeed.

When the pain and loss is so clearly self inflicted, yes.
It didn't have to be that way if they had not deluded themselves with a crank ideology. It is no different than laughing at kittens chasing their tails except that the kittens have an excuse.

Well, okay, if your issue is that I'm having a laugh at her expense, then I suppose that's a fair cop. Still, stupid people are so entertaining, and the stupidest people are those who believe what politicians tell them.

On the other hand, I empathize with the millions of people who were told they could keep their plans and took their president at his word, only to get a cancellation notice and an invitation to pay two or three times more for a plan with worse benefits.

It is no different than laughing at kittens chasing their tails except that the kittens have an excuse. Given that this person's support caused pain to be inflicted on millions of others as well, there is a definite element of justice that has not escaped the consequences of her actions.

But why does the middle class always have to get it up the A^^ They'll figure it out one day when there is nobody left to pay the bills.. You mean it's possible to run out of OPM? How can that be? Just do away with wealth inequality and all will be well. After all, the only thing wrong with the world is that there are rich people in it. Rich people cause envy, and envy is the third-greatest sin of the seven. Weren't we all much happier back when we all lived in caves or trees, and everyone was poor? No envy, no sin, everyone ecologically in tune with the universe and all pacifist nature-worshippers? No wealth-->no envy--> no sin. Ah, Utopia! Oh, right. The best hunters were admired, and the best stone-arrowhead makers were given the best cuts of meats in payment for their services. And the women all knew whom of their number could be counted on to find the the plants and roots to feed the tribe, WOW! Somebody became a CHIEF, and some women rose to the position of "elder." 'Course, pretty girls always did well. Trophy wives are nothing new, but that's a whole different issue... but since that seems true even in the lowest stata of human society, maybe we shouldn't be thinking that eliminating wealth disparities will automatically eliminate the sin of envy and bring about Utopia for All?

A much simpler word for it... "Sick!". When people make mistakes, like supporting Obamacare, it's nice to see them actually have to pay the price for their foolishness. When people pay the price for their mistakes they tend not to make 'em again. This woman's going to think twice before she believes a Democrat in the future - and that's good for all of us. Those that are addicted to taxpayers money (including those that are addicted to buying votes with OPM) are just as bad as those addicted to drugs. Criminals.
