The US has had far more to do with the feck-up in the ME than all the rest of the world put together. It has supplied and enabled the cancer that is Israel. It cracks me up when I hear Americans bleat, "why does everyone hate us". Er, how fecking stupid can some idiots be? So now it is all of Israel. You claimed you only hated Zionists but you didn't fool me. There are those who think before they post and those who don't. You know, the ready, fire, aim crowd.

We kill more of them than they kill us. Does that make us more angry than them, or just better at killing? The second one, I think. Remember these are the people who lob rockets into a country that is in every way militarily superior to them. That just isn't smart.

"Cancer that is Israel"? When has Israel sent suicide bombers anywhere to kill civilians? When has Israel demanded the death of an entire people? Israel took bare desert and, with God in control, made it bloom. The "Palestinians" have done nothing but build ways to kill Jews and their own people, and live in squalor by their own choice. Yep, Israel is a cancer. What sort of uneducated ignorant people belive that the people of Gaza have a choice to not "live in squalor?
You have a choice to be educated and better informed, and the means to do it, the factb that you waste that ability is a far greater sin than theirs. It is Hamas that's keeping the people "living in squalor." It is Hamas that keeps them there. Of course, Egypt plays a part in that too by preventing the people of Gaza from escaping. Hamas has squandered much of the aid intended for those in Gaza. The UN feeds about 40% of the people in Gaza. When the Israelis were in Gaza, they produced a lot of food--enough to export it. When the Israelis left Gaza, they left the infrastructure there. Hamas destroyed a lot of it. Within days (if not hours) of Israelis departing Gaza, Hamas fired rockets from Gaza into Israel. Gaza's problems are the direct result of the Hamas "leadership."

You're never going to have a democracy if you have significant religious involvement in government; democracy and theocracy are incompatible. The Arabs lost that war. When you lose a war, you often lose land. Their answer is to lob rockets into Israel, hoping to intimidate her into giving them back what they strangely think is still theirs. The United States should simply cut off all aid to any nation in that area of the world, and let whatever happens, happen. Yup, exactly. Well said.

The sad truth is that Arab culture has been in decline for centuries. I suspect they understand this, and it's at leas part of what makes them so angry so much of the time. I would guess it started around the time Islam started. We kill more of them than they kill us. Does that make us more angry than them, or just better at killing? If they don't want to be killed, in greater numbers, stop trying to kill the rest of us.

The idea of actually building up Gaza into something more than a teeming slum never occurred to them. Even with all the "aid" they get from the less intelligent, they do nothing but invite "suicide by cop", so that the rest of the world feels sorry for them. Like the idiot in the UN decrying the fact that Israel doesn't share their Iron Dome with Hamas. How stupid can you get?

Last night I watched a BBC "current events" program that focused on the Israel/Hamas conflict. One of the participants said that there have been 22 Palestinians killed for every Israeli killed, as if that was somehow not fair. The moderator claimed that in a recent poll 60% of the UK thought that Israel had committed war crimes. There was no additional info regarding who participated in the poll, etc. (for example, did the sample represent the population?). And there was no information as to whether or not Hamas using humans shields was addressed in the poll.

Oh. Well if they're just human shields, I'd kill them casually too. I don't know what you do about this kind of situation. You can't let an aggressor handcuff you by emplacing his military in civilian areas. But you'd like to not kill non-combatants, either.
