I refuse to stop talking about how he lied regarding his own plan. If we stop talking about his lying and unconstitutional changes to Obamacare then we condone it. I certainly do not. I never wanted my healthcare run by President Obama and his henchman. That is when we lose our freedom of choice.

Can you give me the page number in the AHCA requires insurance companies to cancel substandard plans other than upgrading them?.. Thank you in advance... Stupid argument. I'm sure you understand that in the end the increase in premiums is really the issue. Regardless of whether or no they cancelled, upgraded or whatever existing plans, you can't honestly believe that forcing insurance companies to offer/cover more would not increase premiums. The ACA is a joke at this point and the constant delays demonstrate that. This bill was exactly they type of thing O campaigned against and yet here folks are, giving him yet another pass. I know it's a silly argument... (not necessarily stupid)... but I'm not the one that said the law required insurance companies to cancel their plans rather than include the added benefit or adjust the premium... and by the way, I've had insurance companies and other businesses add additional benefits to my plans WITHOUT increasing the premiums in the past... it does happen... Personally, I hope the AHCA survives in a form that is good and acceptable to everyone... but like SS, some will never accept it... <input id="mac_address" value="" type="hidden">

And he's still the President... get over it... And as long as Obama's still president, people have a right to call him out for lying to the American people. Congress needs to revisit the ACA immediately and revise or drop the minimum requirements for private health plans so that most reasonable insurance policies aren't yanked out from under people who were happy with them.

One of my favorite quotes...
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
-- Former President Theodore Roosevelt, 1918

Since I have been able to vote criticizing the president has never been off bounds. Only with the president does one risk being called a racist when he is criticized. Ridiculous.

Mr. Obama and at least Ezekiel Emmanuel evidently believed that insurance companies would add coverage to existing policies and/or craft new policies that covered what the design team felt needed to be covered out of their profits. This is because they do not understand how capitalism works.

Can you give me the page number in the AHCA requires insurance companies to cancel substandard plans other than upgrading them?.. Thank you in advance... The previous plans were deemed illegal, since they didn't cover contraceptions, abortions, sexchange operations, drug addiction counseling, death counseling, and a host of other insanities that The Puppet and his Merry Marxists decided were 'imperative', since their serfs wanted them but didn't want to pay for them.

It's the same thing as when Bush lied about the WMDs. It's a great point, but it gets us nowhere. Yes he's a liar. But so are pretty much all politicians. The questions is, what are we going to do about it? The answer is, we're going to vote in some different and some of the same liars, just like the last time we voted. So really we have no one to blame but ourselves. The difference is, Bush was relying on the best available evidence. Neither The Puppet nor a single Democrat even read the bill, but were telling everyone what was in it. And there was no way anyone could keep their doctor, or their plan.

And he's still the President... get over it... No, he just lives in the WH. He's never BEEN President. Just a joyriding, infantile stooge, using up the perks of a President without ever actually doing the job. He's a PINO.

He just relies on The Puppet to tell him what to do. Then does it.

'If you like your health care plan, you can keep it' - Obama lied. And there you have the bottom line. I wouldn't mind so much if he merely mispoke once, then issued a hasty correction, or if he thought it was true at the time, but was overtaken by events. Evidence is emerging now that he KNEW it wasn't true when he uttered those words....which means he stood in front of the American people and told a bald-faced LIE.

This is because they do not understand how capitalism works. I think they fully understand how it works and will use this to further demonize the insurance companies in a effort to push for a single payer system. Health insurance provided and admintsered by a Government that can't even tell you how many people have signed up and/or paid.

They DO understand how these institutions work. Which is why they spend so much public treasure and even some of their own political capital in order to reinforce the existing public resentment towards useful institutuions. Even on this board (of a self selected group) there is amble evidence of sincere dislike of the essential institutions of greedy and evil bankers and insurers. It's not that difficult! Society here in America is not predisposed to suspect Gypsys or Jews or Kulaks.... but we love to hate capitalists. It worked for Andrew Jackson and works in 2014.
