I agree with the sports talking heads, I don't think our Center knows the calls and timing. I hope Harbs is shopping.

Could be an unseasonably warm day in Chicago for kick off. The weather boobs are calling for a high of 64(!), but a 50% chance of rain.

If the wind is at Ray Rice's back he might actually be able to advance the ball.

Don't know how they are playing this game in Chicago, extreme winds and trash and debris blowing all over the field, not little napkins either, big stuff, bags etc

I am enjoying the muddy uniforms, real football is meant to be played in the mud, the blood and the beer. Fake fields and domes are wussie

I loved seeing the mud and water on the uniforms. Now that's football. Curiously, I thought the Ravens looked noticeably better today in defeat than they did last week when they beat Cincinnati. I'd have to put this one on the defense; they gave up a long drive on the Bears' last touchdown (stupid penalty, Dumerville), and then gave up a big pass play in the overtime period to set up the winning field goal. They also couldn't muster an hors d'oeuvre's worth of pressure for much of the day on Josh McCown. Lots of key plays that could have turned the game either way. I was surprised that Chicago didn't go for it on 4th and less than a yard on their final possession of regulation. They were having success running between the tackles and I didn't think going for it was that big of a gamble, particularly not with Ngata out. Helluva catch by Dallas Clark on 4th and 4 on that last drive, but the lack of a reliable tight end loomed large. In adverse weather, a tight end would have been a huge asset, particularly because the long passing game was effectively negated by the conditions. That drop on third down on overtime looked to be more on Doss than Flacco. If Doss had run through the pattern, he likely would have made the catch and kept the drive going. I didn't like Harbaugh burning a challenge (and a crucial timeout) on the fumble recovery. I never thought there was any doubt whether or not a catch was made; that lost timeout proved crucial when the Ravens were going for what would have been a game-winning touchdown. That bad snap notwithstanding on that last play from scrimmage, the Ravens were in a position where they either had to score or stop the clock with an incompletion. Once the play went to hell on the low snap, Flacco had little choice but to throw the ball away.

2nd and goal at the end of regulation and one time out with approximately 25 ticks...no way should a run have been the play call. It forced them to use the last TO and made a pass the only play call on 3rd.
On the plus side, Jimmy Smith seems to have come into his own with a very good game matched up with Marshall.

And Ray Rice actually looked like the Ray Rice of old instead of an old Ray Rice. But I would put that pick six partly on his shoulders; that was a horrible attempt at a cut block.
