2nd and goal at the end of regulation and one time out with approximately 25 ticks...no way should a run have been the play call. It forced them to use the last TO and made a pass the only play call on 3rd. On the plus side, Jimmy Smith seems to have come into his own with a very good game matched up with Marshall. And Ray Rice actually looked like the Ray Rice of old instead of an old Ray Rice. But I would put that pick six partly on his shoulders; that was a horrible attempt at a cut block. That was awful, especially for a RB that is an adequate pass blocker. Webb looked pretty bad being turned around by a TE, although I don't know what defense was called.

Disappointing loss, the moreso since it probably took the season with it. They basically have to win out to have any shot at the post season, and they won't.

That weather was unbelievable.
Gonna be a long plane ride home.
We have tickets to the Jets game next week in Row 6. Jets lost today. If Ravens lose next week, I guess the season is pretty much over.

I believe bowiebruce was in that, at least for awhile. He may have had to leave to catch his plane.

Yes, he said he was going to be there. I'm sure he'll have some interesting reports! That was really some wild weather.

Ozzie leaves Soldier Field in an ambulance. (I started a thread on this on the Ravens board). Let's wish him our best!

After what's happened recently with Gary Kubiak and John Fox, this certainly isn't anything to be taken lightly. Hopefully it's nothing more than a 24-hour bug. Ozzie was reportedly said to be sweating profusely, which of course can lead to dehydration.

My uncle is a long time Bears season ticket holder and I was supposed to go to the game. However a few weeks ago I called him and said I couldn't make it out. Glad I did now.

How about the blown coverage when the Bears were in a bunch formation? The one was in OT the play before the big 40 yard play. Inside guy has to cover that I believe.

The trouble is, the Ravens are quickly running out of room for error and haven't shown much capacity for stringing together wins. Their remaining schedule isn't the toughest, but now the games that figured to be the most difficult--Pittsburgh, New England, Detroit and Cincinnati--now fall into the must-win category. It's still possible, but the Ravens have found ways to not win the winnable. I just don't think the personnel is there. And if you didn't bring it with you, you aren't likely to find it.

As of right now, the Jets are holding down the second wildcard berth. That game doesn't figure to be a walkover by any means. If the Jets beat the Ravens at M&T I'll eat my own face The Jet's have little chance in that game, IMO. You might wanna prepare an egg or buy some mustard and ketchup

I have to agree, I don't see post season this year unless they win every remaining game, and with the way they have been playing that's not going to happen.
