Just drove to Eldersburg to get some dinner and started storming fairly hard. Winds gusted a little. One even gave my truck a good shove. And an old ford f 250 diesel isn't a light weight. HAHA.

Bring it on. If the local rivers get any lower, local kayaking spots will be reduced to wet rocks.

we got a doozie of a storm that came in two waves yesterday around 6 pm. the electric blinked...throwing all of the surge protectors...thankfully.
but...a freaky thing happened. during the storm my door bell rang...i looked out and the police was parked at the end of my driveway. i panicked...thought something had happened to KK. but...when i answered the door...the officer said that they had a report of a hang-up call from my address. we just figured that when the electric blinked...the phone sent a call to 911...who knows. but...he did come in and took info from me. freaky...indeed.

It was a typical summer thunderstorm for our area. Moved through fairly rapidly. Nothing drastic, dramatic, or horrible.

IMO I predict a hard winter, including a blizzard or two. I base this on 2010 when our summer was much like this one. Unusual cool downs in mid summer lead to heavy snow storms that winter.
