A Baltimore Ravens football player was arrested after an incident at a restaurant in Towson. Authorities said police were flagged down by the manager of the Green Turtle in the 400 block of York Road about 9 p.m. Officials said the manager told them a woman had passed out in the bathroom of the restaurant, and a man, who was identified as Baltimore Ravens cornerback James Smith, was holding the woman so she wouldn't fall. The Baltimore Fire Department was called to provide medical help to the woman. Police said they had to ask Smith to leave the bathroom three times, and he was eventually arrested and cited for failing to obey the officer. www.wbaltv.com/news/ravens-player-arrested-after-incident-at-restaurant/26930258#!becNv1

What's that 5 this off season? Ray Lewis may be gone but have to keep the tradition alive. Seriously folks, how big of a homer do you have to be to root for this team?

Unless the league catches him on a drug test, which he could beat, I don't think anything will come of this for Smith. Since they found the coke in her purse, he can claim that he didn't know anything about it, even though his behavior seemed very odd.

Harbaugh certainly isn't managing the off field and character issues as well as his predecessor did.

I don't break bread with these guys so I really don't care what drugs they use, how fast they drive, who they choose as friends, or who they punch in bars. Football players or any athlete are not my heroes. They are simply entertainers. No more then cartoon characters which perform for me once a week. Investing anything more then that in a bunch of strangers that happen to wear the same laundry is immature.

When the police tell you to do something, it's much better to simply do it. Can't these guys go anywhere without having run-ins with the cops?

Harbaugh certainly isn't managing the off field and character issues as well as his predecessor did. Leon Searcy, Jamal Lewis, Ray Lewis, McAlister numerous times, BJ Sams, and others.

That was over a period of years. The Ravens are becoming like the Bengals used to be: a team full of police blotter dwellers.

Haven't checked lately but the ravens were in the middle of the pack as far as players arrested since 2000. The bengals lead the NFL. I am sure the ravens have jumped a few spots.
