These greenish-yellowish peppers we are growing in the garden. I just had one as a snack and they are so good! mild and crunchy! I am loving the peppers but I do have to watch as some of them are really hot.

I never could understand why people eat extremely hot peppers. They certainly overwhelm the taste of whatever food they are eaten with (in some cases I guess that's the point) and the burning sensation can only be described as a masochist's dream. And besides, battery acid is cheaper. But if you must eat hot peppers go big or go home.

I think peppers are really good for you hot or otherwise. They are high in vitamins and low in calories. Battery acid has no nutrition I wouldn't think.

Got more for lunch today! Also a lady gave me string beans. I wash them (I asked if she used any pesticides and she said no) and cut them up and eat them raw in the salad too. They are so good!

If one eats peppers frequently they become acclimatized to them and consequently require increasingly strong ones to achieve the same result. Personally, I like them really hot.

When it comes to hot sauces (chili sauces), SRIRACHA is my personal favorite. I've never been in a Vietnamese restaurant that didn't have it on every table.

One of the joys of summer is picking a tomato fresh off the backyard vine and eating it like an apple. That and fresh maryland corn and the occasional soft crab sandwich. The land of pleasant living indeed.

Again, tomato LOOKS great but yech! I'm in Pa till Monday, put offer on house in the hills............ lot of corn here too along with wild turkeys and deer!

Good luck on the house! Thanks, still waiting for an answer. THEN to jump through the VA hoops. They accepted offer as is! Settlement Aug 27 or there abouts! How far are you from the location? Be doing a LOT of road running between now and then.
