SINGAPORE: Restaurant-goers in Singapore can expect to be served by autonomous flying robots – the world’s first commercial attempt – by the end of next year. Infinium-Serve, the autonomous flying robotic waiters, will be first launched at one of Timbre Group’s five outlets in Singapore. Infinium Robotics CEO Woon Junyang estimated the project to cost a “low seven-figure sum” for the five outlets, subject to final negotiations and certain variables of the actual deployment of the robots. www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/flying-robots-to-start/1496708.html

Well, I'll draw the line at robotic strippers in show bars... Now that there is some kinky stuff. I would have never thought of that. Maybe you wouldn't have, but I *assure you* that the first commercial use for humaniform 1 robots will be in the sex trade. Guar-an-teed. [1] Credit Isaac Asimov for this term that describes a robot which looks enough like a person to fool most observers.

Seriously. How many guys got a little turned on by the robot stripper? Be honest. With that face, are you kidding? I'll admit it gives a whole new meeting to the term pole dancing. One time down in FL there was a I saw stripper who imitated a robot and it was so real-looking it looked uncanny. A colleague said she really unnerved him.

OK, let's cut to the chase...how much do you have to tip a robot? I dunno, just grease its palm maybe? By God, you do have a sense of humor. You should let it out more often. Seriously. How many guys got a little turned on by the robot stripper? Be honest. By a minstrel show stripper? No way, not even if it’s 1:59 A.M. and I’m 3 sheets to the wind.
