Body building. The men of course. Figure skating is probably my second favorite. Those soccer players are really cute too.

In summer, baseball. In winter, football. When hell freezes over, soccer, which Europeans for some reason insist on calling football. Now, rugby, they were onto something. But when a guy ten feet from the action takes a flop without getting touched and the other team somehow still draws a penalty... when the chief governing body of the international version is so riddled with corruption one can only shake one's head, it's hard to take seriously.

I don't know, could it be because the game is played with the feet and hands/arms aren't allowed? Logically one could ask why Americans call their game football when the ball might get kicked a handful of times in the whole game, if your lucky. "Flopping" aka Diving has been a game spoiler in the past, fortunately it is now being punished when seen. There is no "flopping" in Rugby Football. And yes, indeed, FIFA is as bent as a nine dollar bill, but the US are most put out by the fact that they were 'outbid' by Qatar for the 2022 World Cup.

I admit that I like watching the FIFA American Women's soccer team (Alex Morgan, in particular).

As Americans have become increasingly more obese, football has become increasingly popular. Sports that require fitness are falling out of vogue. The new American way is sitting in front of the TV for 4 hours stuffing your face while obese men push each other around and fall down.

Yes, it is. I don't get to see many of the international competitions in the US, but they are on almost daily here. The opposite is true for figure skating...I never see any of that over here, have to wait for the good old USA.

Golf is soooo boring, even the announcers are boring... I was watching some coverage of the tournament in VA this week. I think I'd rather watch paint dry.
On a side note, I was offered VIP passes for that tourney for today, tomorrow or Sunday!!
