The Ravens have nothing to lose, so I could see them pulling out all the stops in an attempt to score an upset. But in the end I think the Steelers just have too many offensive weapons for the Ravens secondary. Big Ben could have a field day against this bunch.
Steelers 34, Ravens 17

And that last Steeler touchdown should've been called back because Spaeth held Upshaw on that play. Even though Upshaw complained, I guess either the officials didn't see it or ignored it.

Pittsburgh has no one but themselves to blame. They had a golden chance to clinch a playoff berth, but instead went out and laid the mother of all eggs.

It was a sweet, sweet victory because it was the Steelers.
But the Ravens mostly screwed their chances of getting a playmaker in the draft. Enjoy the victory, but understand it was paid for with the future.

Between Harbs excitement yesterday and the crowd atmosphere you would have thought we were playing in the Super Bowl, it was exciting.
If you win just 2 games, make it be the Steelers and all is well.

I agree. But we don't want Cincinnati getting the idea they can be good, either. We already know the Browns will never be any good.

Pittsburgh almost got called for having 12 men on the field. I saw his foot in the neutral zone. Clearly encroachment, but he wasn't anywhere near the Steelers backfield. About as blatant as the hold on Upshaw that permitted the Steeler touchdown on the following play. One got called. One didn't. That's the nature of the officiating these days, because Goodell doesn't care enough to make it better.

Difference is, today we have the luxury of super slow motion and HD, while officials have to make the calls in real time.
Today is the 48th anniversary of the famous Ice Bowl. Watch the replay of the Packers' winning touchdown carefully and you'll see that Jerry Kramer beat the snap count by a fraction of a second. No call was made, but I doubt it was due to Pete Rozelle not caring enough about officiating.
