A brief cold snap like this helps keep the pest population under control by killing a certain percentage of the overwintering eggs. But let's keep it brief. Cold like this only benefits BGE. And has anyone else noticed that the falling fuel prices have NOT translated into cheaper heating and electric bills? Now tell me the Public Service Commission isn't in BGE's back pocket!

Isn't the price of natural gas and electric negotiated far in advanced for a set period? Falling fuel prices wouldn't impact it right away; would it?
