Apparently, Ozzie's love for all things 'Bama extends even to high first draft round busts.
Of course, someone Cleveland picks in the first round might not actually be first round talent. And if Trent Richardson can actually flourish, after a year off, this will look as good as the Perriman pick now looks bad (Ozzie failed to properly ascertain the seriousness of an existing knee condition, and it now appears that Perriman will never take an NFL field).

It's a no risk move for the Ravens. I'm certain Richardson's contract will have no guarantees or bonuses, so if he fails to impress in training camp, the Ravens can simply cut him and owe nothing more.
