Thanksgiving that is.
So what do you cook between now and Christmas when you stage your next belly busting banquet?

Very little cooking. Delivery (Chinese, Papa Johns; etc.) may be in order.

Leftovers for about a week.
After that, I'll depend heavily on my crockpot because of wrestling (my son) and getting ready for the Holidays! Aside from that, I'm not opposed to having pizza delivered or carry out!

Made homemade Mac and cheese last night- no Velveeta!! LOL... just try it! Are you afraid you might like it?? Shhhh..... Don't tell anyone.... I've done it before!! Ha!! But the stuff I made yesterday -- mmm- no comparison 1 box elbow macaroni ( I used whole wheat) 4 cups milk - 2% is what I used 4 tbsp butter 4 tbsp flour 8 oz grated cheddar 1 tsp turmeric 1 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp salt Freshly grated nutmeg 2 tbsp spicy brown mustard Cook pasta in salted water until just under half done; drain, pour into baking dish Melt butter in deep pan; when melted, whisk in flour and cook for a minute or two until browned. Slowly stir in milk; heat until a bit thick, slowly add cheese until melted and incorporated; then stir in all seasonings including mustard, mix well, pour over pasta. Bake at 350 for about 30-40 minutes, until brown and bubbly and no longer liquidy. Enjoy!!

Good old fashioned crock pot chili goes down well when it's cold outside!

Crab cakes, cole slaw and homemade French fries tonight. What the hell, it's still 50 degrees outside!
