My neighbor has has some struggles over the last few years. He was diagnosed with brian cancer. He was in remission and then he recently found of the cancer is back. He started dating a girl who was messeing with his head playing games and he ended up in a Mental health facility. He lost he business and his home was goong into foreclosure. I talked to a couple other neighbors who We all agreed things were not going to be good for him and we offered him support. I woke up Wednesday am and the cops were at his house. After the cops stayed a while we all kinda knew what happened. He shot into in the head. His house is up for auction later this month. He was a good nice guy who just fell on hard times and couldnt get out of it. Ive been there and had a couple suicide attempts in the past. Im thankful I was able to finally get out of the rut after many many years. I only wish he could have done the same

Its good you and your neighbors tried to help him, sometimes they just can't accept help.

Truly very sad, I'm sorry for the loss of your neighbor. I'm sure he appreciated the help that you and the neighbors offered, its seems he was in a much darker place than any of you could have imagined.
Good for you as well, I'm happy that you were able to pull yourself out of your darkness. I hope you are doing well!

Recurring brain cancer is a very bad diagnosis. This is one of the cases where I can understand someone wanting to die on their own terms. His future otherwise was very probably a slow death with a lot of suffering. His situation is complicated by previous suicide attempts, which may indicate he suffered from a mental illness. If he was a friend as well as a neighbor, don't suffer alone. Find someone to speak to. Best wishes.

Very sad it can happen to any one of us mental health and brain cancer that's a double whammy. I have a friend that rented from 2 places that were previous funeral homes she would catch a black mist out of the corner of her eye and her cats were always at the basement door. the one place she felt very uneasy because of the noises.
