You shouldn't let those little kids intimidate you so much.
I was at the mall today at the fru fru section. I bought my wife a Louis Vuitton golf bag and the mall cops were dressed up in their best Tacticool gear. One even had a German Shepard which seemed like a little overkill. I forgot that today was the day they release the new iPhone and the line outside of the Apple Store was outrageous.

Malls want to make money. If people tell the store clerks, "I'd come in here more, except for those obnoxious kids" and that gets back to the mall's management, this happens. Because those kids don't spend money. They're just there because they're losers with no better way to spend their time. In fact, most of those mall hanger kids will probably never amount to anything and never be customers for the stores in the mall. And those that do? In twenty years they'll understand why malls make rules like this and will fully support them.

Unless JHU decided the police put guns to kids head and demanded they riot, it would be silly to assert the police forced them to riot. And it would be silly for JHU to reach that conclusion as well. |

My first thought was that when we were 16 we were working the 5-9:30 shift after school. Then I remembered retail stores now have to pay minimum wage, and so they no longer hire teens.
It's really sad so many teens don't have sufficient home training these days to know how to behave in public. They ruin it for the kids who only want to window-shop and purchase something at the food court.
