Time to rest, heal up, and regroup
Can we salvage the season with a win against the Steelers?

No. Oh, the fact that the Steelers and Bengals are struggling this year as well (and the Browns are always awful) means that a division title does not yet seem out of reach. They may possibly win it, although I see this as a 4-12 or 5-11 team, and that's assuming no one else important is hurt. And those numbers do not win divisions.
Even if they somehow manage to win the division, they won't go deep into the postseason. Ozzie's had a few mediocre to bad drafts and the team is poorly coached. It now seems likely that an important component of Harbaugh's early successes was player leadership from men like Ray Lewis, which is gone now (there's a rumor Harbaugh does not like players like that). There's no fire in the team any more. Without that, teams do not win big.
Add in the fact that Harbaugh is demonstrably not good at choosing assistants, and I see poor play until Bisciotti makes the needed change at the top.

The Steelers and Redskins play for a tie, as both teams demonstrate how badly they do not want to win football games.
