Absolutely go Falcons. Hey, did you know that for five months of the year, Brady has to leave home by 6am, and often doesn't get back until 6:30pm? Leaving poor Giselle to wrangle their kids all by herself?

I'd personally like to see Goodell have to hand the Lombardi Trophy to Kraft, Belichick and Brady. Go Pats.

Well, I'd personally like Belicheat and Marsha go the rest of their careers without so much as a participation trophy, so one of us is going to be disappointed. Likes or dislikes aside, it's a bit surprising that the spread is only -3 for New England. Other than Atlanta's prolific offense, which has been on a roll of late, most other factors in this game point to the Patriots. Since their loss to Seattle in mid-November, the only team to put up 20+ points on New England (including two playoff games) was the Ravens (and in all honesty, even that was due to uncharacteristic New England special teams mistakes which perched the Ravens close to New England's goal line on consecutive possessions. Atlanta's defense, is a tad suspect, having given up 32 points twice to New Orleans, 31 and 28 to Tampa, 33 to the Panthers and Chargers, 32 to the Packers (during the season) and 29 to the offensively-challenged Chiefs. True, they have played better of late, but then again, so had Pittsburgh's defense, and New England lit them up for 36 points. As he has demonstrated numerous times in the past, Belichick will likely take away Atlanta's best offensive weapon and force someone else to beat him. And there's no one better at second-half adjustments, so what might for the Falcons in the first half may not in the second. New England has already played its bad game in the divisional round against Houston, while Atlanta has looked formidable in its two playoff wins. It's hard to imagine, however, the Patriots repeating that Houston game tomorrow.

I agree that the smart money is on New England. Belichick has built something there. I would like to see him stay on after Brady retires, which has to happen in the next few years, to see if he can strike gold with a new quarterback. I have a suspicion that Belichick is mostly responsible for that team's success; ie. that Brady would have been mediocre or bad in a lot of other organizations, and I'd like to see that proven or disproven.
I expect a shootout that the Patriots will win by 6-9 points.

Nobody really believes anything Alex Jones has to say. It's just clickbait.

Certainly the most improbable of comebacks by the Patriots. Once Atlanta went up 28-3, I'm sure I wasn't alone in thinking not only was the game over, but that this could turn into the biggest rout in Super bowl history.
Some of the stats from this game were simply eye-popping, most notably New England running 96 plays to just 46 for Atlanta. That's almost unheard of in a game that close. People are going to criticize the play-calling of Atlanta in the second half, and some of it justifiably so, but they didn't put up 541 points during the regular season by taking their foot off the gas. What I think they didn't understand--and what ultimately proved to be their undoing--was situational football. They didn't need a gaudy, nail-in-the-coffin touchdown on that last possession; instead, they needed to keep the ball on the ground, run the clock, force the Patriots to start burning timeouts, and then turn the game over to one of the most accurate kickers in the game. An 11-point win is just as good as 15.
Instead, they not only took themselves out of field goal range, but they left Brady over 3:00 on that final game-tying drive with two timeouts--more than ample time. They also put the onus on a defense which was running out of gas and ultimately not capable of a final stand. Once New England won the toss to start the overtime period, the Falcons were done because now their biggest strength--their offense--could only stand and watch as New England marched down the field.
If nothing else, Super Bowl 51 confirmed that the only insurmountable lead is a win. I have a feeling it's not going to be the most pleasant of offseasons for the Falcons.

People have criticized Belichick in the past for "running up the score" during certain games when he played hard all game against bad teams, and the score was very high. What yesterday proves is that there's always a way back, and you never take your foot off the gas. This is a thing the Ravens do under Harbaugh that's so infuriating. You play hard every quarter of every game, and you play hard every game of the season, even the "meaningless" ones. Or you don't belong in this league, period.
Congratulations to the Patriots. They deserved to win, and they won.

They deserved to win, and they won. I don't think it was a case of Atlanta not playing hard, but not playing to the game situation. The Falcons either got too aggressive or they panicked, one or the other. They didn't need to hit another homerun on that last possession, just play small ball, kick the field goal (with a kicker who was 27-for-28 on kicks between 40 and 49 yards) and make Tom Brady climb out of a two-possession hole with the clock against him. Your allusion to Harbaugh and the Ravens is a good illustration. That interception against Philadelphia, which Harbaugh later referred to as the dumbest play call ever, was a perfect example of what separates teams which understand game situations, like New England, and those who do not, like the Ravens in that instance or Atlanta yesterday. Like the Falcons, the Ravens needed another touchdown in that instance like they needed leprosy, but again, like the Falcons, they couldn't differentiate between what they wanted to do and what they needed to do. It's really a poor idea to help the very unsentimental Patriots when they're down. To be sure, Brady still had navigate virtually the entire length of the field on that game-tying drive, which was no easy feat, but then again, Atlanta was in a position where they didn't have to give him the opportunity. Dan Quinn must be thinking that the Super Bowl gods are conspiring against him. He was the defensive coordinator for Seattle when they threw that ill-advised goal line pass in the waning seconds of Super Bowl 49 against the Patriots. Sometimes it's best to just keep things simple.

At least Lady GaGa's penis didn't fall out like it did the last time.
