www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2018/04/12/trump-robert-mueller-interview-prospects-dimmed-fbi-raid-michael-cohen/511317002/A couple of days ago the prosecutors for the FBI's Southern District of New York, acting on information from Robert Mueller's hyper-partisan team of witch hunters, raided the Office, home, and hotel rooms of Michael Cohen, Trump's personal attorney. Ostensibly they are looking for evidence that Cohen paid off Stormy Daniels in violation of campaign finance law. This is blatantly partisan. Here's how the FEC and FBI handle campaign finance law violations when the accused is Barack Obama: www.usnews.com/news/articles/2013/01/07/obama-campaign-fined-big-for-hiding-donors-keeping-illegal-donationsThe Obama campaign accepted $1.9 million from undisclosed sources, and $1.3 million from people who donated in excess of the maximum limit. The Obama campaign was fined $375,000, and the matter was closed. No attorney offices were raided, no Republicans screeched about impeachment. It received little media coverage, let alone the gleeful excitement coming from the US press that Trump is getting. What is more, its hardly a slam-dunk case that paying off a porn star amounts to a campaign expense. Don't get me wrong: there is a plausible case that it is. However there is also a plausible argument that this payment would have happened irresepective of Trump's presidential campaign. The story is bad for Trump's marriage and brand ID as well as his presidential campaign. For this questionable case, for a crime that is normally handled though an administrative fine, a hyper-partisan witch hunt violated attorney-client privelege of the President. For sake of the country, I hope there is something more here. If there isn't, the FBI will have revealed itself as a civil-rights violating Gestapo of the Democratic Party. Muller is well on his way to making a martyr out of Trump, and proving behind any doubt, the Democrats are far too fascistic to ever be allowed to hold power again.

Look at how Dinesh D'Souza was handled. He was accused, and convicted, of "donating too much", and was sent to prison. Who was imprisoned in The Puppet's scam? Look at how they handled Cheryl Mills. Her office wasn't raided, she didn't have all her equipment and documents confiscated, and she was involved in conspiracy to commit treason. So, the FBI is now the enforcement arm of the Party of the KKK. All of the "prosecutors" that Mueller has hired are criminal Party of the KKK hit men. They have no ethics, no morals, and have the only aim of effecting a silent coup. And we are supposed to believe a word that comes out of this "investigation"? Where were the "no knock" raids in The Felon "investigation"? She actually did destroy evidence, and the FBI never even ASKED to look at her server. Same with the Party of the KKK's alleged hack. The FBI "asked" to see the server, was told no, and simply dropped the whole thing. The entire special counsel in this case is a fake. There is nothing to find, there was nothing on which to empanel a special counsel, and the entire thing is nothing but an attempt to overturn a legal election.

It's not that what he was convicted of isn't a crime, because it is. The legal case against him was solid, and the conviction and sentence were supported by applicable legal statute. The problem is that when the Democrats do the same things, prosecutors don't prosecute and justify their inaction with claims of "prosecutorial discretion." I don't necessarily have a problem with this either, because TBH, campaign finance laws are constitutionally questionable to say the least. The problem is the very different treatment given to Republicans versus Democrats by both the media and the deep state (which are two sides of the same coin). If you're going to let the Obama campaign off with a lecture and a fine for campaign finance violations, you can't raid Trump's attorney's office for the same thing (and celebrate it as a political victory) and expect to retain any legitimacy.

Of course they can, because they have both the legal system, and the fake news media in their pockets. The Puppet managed to insert enough criminally Communist judges and prosecutors to make sure that they can find one to do whatever they want at the time, and Trump hasn't had time to fumigate all of it yet.

They only maintain legitimacy inside their own echo chamber. Which, at least to me, appears to be shrinking. All of the various attempts to shout down conservative speakers, all of the riots, the ridiculous legislation and court cases, the Russia! Invesitgation that has no foundation or boundaries, all of the cartoonishly one-sided coverage in the media is starting to catch up with them. It has been for a few years now. Trump and his "surprise" win is "Exhibit A" on how disconnected from reality the Democrats are. I don't have any notion that independents and moderates are, all of a sudden, going to support Trump. However, the left's mask is falling off. The more it does, the more unpalatable the Democrats become. Trump would have lost handily if the Democrats had nominated someone sensible and at least superficially trustworthy. They didn't lose because Trump was a great candidate. They lost because it was readily apparent that Hillary was worse. They have no one on their bench that is better than Hillary... and they said so themselves, almost continuously, throughout the last election. And things are only getting worse for them from here. The Dems are about 1/3 of the country now... but they've run white men out of the party on a rail, now that Hillary is gone, they're purging white women. And if they were honest with themselves, they're going to lose their death grip on blacks and Latinos who tend to be more religious than the Democrat party is willing to tolerate. They're trying to get themselves in a place where their base is black transexual atheists.

Far better than The Puppet was, and in many ways, far better than W was. If they hinge their entire campaign on not being Trump, and hating him, they are going to turn off a large portion of their base that find themselves in much better positions than they ever did under The Puppet.
