Not a head scratcher at all!
Huff had been terrible from the start, and last weeks ST gaffe was the final straw according to Harbaugh.
Spears had missed two out of the last three games due to injury and was being outplayed by rookie Brandon Williams, according to the Ravens.
I can never fathom why people constantly question the moves of a GM with a proven track record when they are a) not at practices where the coaches see a lot more than we do, and b) aren't analyzing film like the coaches and GM do. It gets rather old, TBH.

It gets rather old, TBH. Um, because it is a fan's right to discuss the team, the moves they make, it is called a football discussion. Some people do not follow blindly, no matter how good a move a team makes, or not.... I am sure you were quite boisterous when Boller was the quarterback, likely wondering, discussing after every game why he was still the quarterback. As for the moves, Spears, while nicked up, did just as much as Williams, though he is aging quickly. Still, with Ngata injured and one armed for the most part, he was good depth along the line, experience for a relatively young team. Remember, the defense was gashed up the middle against Pit and have been suspeotable to the run this year. Spears can play either end or tackle, Williams, while good, is just a tackle. Huff, yes, not quite what they hoped when they signed him this summer, was not the only one responsible for the gaff in Pit.
