Lol. You must be joking. If it were wind farms no one would care if they got flooded. It is all about the fact it is nukes. Um, wind farms aren't dangerous. Well, occasionally the blades of one disintegrate and hurl shrapnel around, but as there usually aren't people in the vicinity that's more annoying and costly than deadly. The big knock against them is the places they need to be for good efficiency ruin the sightlines of rich, well-connected people (like Ted Kennedy, when he was alive) who fight to keep them from being installed. And, being far from things they suffer from the same problems as other site-specific means of converting energy: the cost of getting the energy from where it is converted to where it is needed. Roof mounted solar arrays offer more promise, but the efficiency remains very low.
