It's only fitting since Jimenez has been digging himself into holes for much of the season.
This will hopefully be Kevin Gausman's last trip up to the big league club. Put him in the rotation and leave him there.

FWIW I turned my ankle (the doc used the term rolled my ankle) some months ago. I was walking on grass and somehow stepped on a clump under the inside of my left foot causing my angle to turn under. It didn't break anything, but required an "air cast" for 3 weeks to prevent a similar occurrence which would then require surgery. However, I am not a young athlete.
Years ago, while hunting, every now and then I'd step into a "hidden" hole in the field (the hole was hidden by vegetation), which would wrench my lower back. The pain would last for several weeks. That was no fun either.

I've rolled my ankle, but never badly enough to require a visit to the doctor. Badly enough it ached for a week or so. It's no fun. I just find it very... convenient... that this happens when the man is struggling.
Ubaldo has had a few good outings, some of which have resulted in losses due to a nearly total lack of run support. But he is wildly inconsistent, and that's not good.

Perhaps I should've mentioned that back in '74 I rolled my ankle so severely that it did require surgery. And that stainless screw that holds the broken part in place is still in there and probably prevented a break on my most recent episode. Although I was much younger back then I still wasn't as fit as today's typical athlete.

Yes, they do. My speculation is that the only thing wrong with Jimenez is that for some reason cannot pitch right now.
