Another lie. Subsidies are a fancy term for tax dollars. I am not fooled. So Obamacare is not going to be affordable. Is anyone surprised? I'm not.

Perhaps it should be called the Unaffordable Care Act!

His written statement contradicts President Obama's campaign promises that the Affordable Care Act would lower costs for Americans.
In October of that year he said during a campaign rally in Columbus, Ohio that 'we are going to work with you to lower your premiums by $2,500. We will not wait 20 years from now to do it, or 10 years from now to do it. We will do it by the end of my first term as president.'

He's hardly the first president to lie about a campaign promise. Indeed, you can always tell when a politician is lying - his lips are moving. It's hardwired into their DNA, I guess - the same gene that makes you like lording it over others also makes your deceitful.
But he is the first president in my lifetime who has screwed up on such an epic scale. George W. Bush started the ball rolling on corroding basic civil rights, but Obama is going to ruin the economy.

I would like to see that happen, as well. But I doubt it will. It certainly can't happen before 2014, and then only if the Republicans manage a veto-proof majority. I expect the legislature will shed Democrats like mangy dog sheds fur, but will the Pubs get a veto-proof majority in both houses? Still too early to say.

Unless Obamacare blows up even worse than even I expect, too many incumbent Dems in the Senate are in "safe" seats.

Maybe, unless they don't learn the lesson and stop blindly pursuing a Marxist agenda.
