Havre de Grace is a beautiful small town. I agree. Spent a few months one summer many years ago working there. Great time.

South Dakota-Deadwood Florida- Key West or St Augustine Maryland- There are a quite few-Annapolis, Boonesboro, North East Pennsylvania-Loretta or the home town of Cresson I didn't stop in many towns in New Hampshire but Laconia was nice during the motorcycle rally Everywhere else almost any smalll town is nice. If I think of more I'll post them.

Sounds like you've done a bit of traveling, Woodbuchr... thanks for your contribution... Some but there is a lot more we want to do. I forgot in Massachusetts I think I liked Salem best. I also didn't mention Big Timber Montana. We stayed in a place called the Grand Hotel which was built in the 1890's. It was pretty cool. I'm going to stop in a town called Alzada Montana next year and check it out, it should be fairly small and has a saloon I want to see. (As an edit I checked and Alzada has a population of 29, that's pretty small although Beulah WY is only 33 and I had a drink in a bar there too!)

Montana and Wyoming are two of my favorite states... been through Beulah after visiting Devil's Tower and headed toward Rushmore...
