I have the best garden this year that I've ever had. Of course, being retired gives me much more time to be out working in it. I found a good source of compost from a neighbor who raises chickens, alpaca's, miniature cows and peacocks. He combines all the manure and lets it compost. Good s#!+. $10 a load for as much as I can fit in my pickup. I put about 5 or 6 loads on my garden in the spring and again in the fall. I have great soil texture and it gets better every year.

The peppers are finally doing great. Tomatoes are coming along also. Egg plant is kicking in both traditional and the white egg plant. Time will tell on the peanuts, parsnips, beets, and sweet potatoes. Time for fall and winter crops.
