Acts 20:32 “Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. Romans 15:4-6 (NIV) 4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. 5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, 6 so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

es, our relationship with Christ Jesus is personal, but that does not mean it should be kept private. People, strangers, friends & family, should see our faith every day. Ephesians 4:21-24 (NIV) 21 When you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Remember, if you get too tired from swimming in the stormy waters this world has for us at times, just roll over onto your back and float for a while. Yes, even infants can float on their backs, thus, you can too if you trust the one teaching us, in this case, Christ Jesus is our life guard. Psalms 119:35-40 (NIV) 35 Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight. 36 Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain. 37 Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word. 38 Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared. 39 Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good. 40 How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life.

Worry is work that should never be done, but is unavoidable for everyone. This is just another reason you see, God sent His Son, for you and for me. Jeremiah 17:7 & 14 (NIV) 7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. 14 Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise."

Maybe you feel as if you are left out more than you are included in this world; forgotten. But know this, the only thing God forgets is our sin, and- Mathew 24: 35, 20:16 (NIV) 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. 16 “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”

A plan is hope put into motion, Since God has already put His plan for us in motion, this means hope is already in us. We just have to allow His Holy Spirit, who resides in us, to help us. Psalms 51:8-12 (NIV) 8 Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice. 9 Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. 10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

The thing most people mismanage and come to regret more is not their finances or lack there of, rather, time. It goes out quicker than money, but unlike money, it cannot be earned back. There is only one way to eternity, Christ Jesus knows the way. Ecclesiastes 2:24-26 (NKJV) 24 Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor. This also, I saw, was from the hand of God. 25 For who can eat, or who can have enjoyment, more than I? 26 For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.

Luke 12: 15 And He (Christ Jesus) said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” Luke 12:29-32 (NKJV) 29 “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. 30 For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. 31 But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. 32 “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

We cannot think our selves thin, nor rich, nor think our selves healthy and be healthy no matter what some in the world would try to sell us. We can think our selves happy or sad by what or who we focus our thoughts on. Philippians 4:6-8 (NKJV) 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Distractions are all around us, whether they are sights or sounds. They can keep us from focusing on what is important, especially on our walk with Christ Jesus. Psalms 38:13- 16 (NKJV) 13 But I, like a deaf man, do not hear; and I am like a mute who does not open his mouth. 14 Thus I am like a man who does not hear, And in whose mouth is no response. 15 For in You, O Lord, I hope; You will hear, O Lord my God. 16 For I said, “Hear me, lest they rejoice over me, Lest, when my foot slips, they exalt themselves against me.
