Team says it is a minor injury and requires anti-inflammatories and rest.
Yeah.
He's starting to look an awful lot like a bust. If they can't get him on the major league roster next year he will be a free agent, as he will be out of options (he was signed under older rules and has been on the 40 man roster for several years). Will he be ready by then? Certainly not of the shoulder problem is any worse than the Orioles claim.

After first saying he did not need an MRI, Bundy had one performed when shoulder soreness lingered. It revealed inflammation but an otherwise structurally sound joint. He's on the shelf for a week or so and then will have a follow up scan.

Bundy is shut down for the foreseeable future. I believe it is now time to call him a bust. I doubt he'll ever pitch another major league inning for the Orioles. He's out of options next year, which means if they can't justify bringing him up, he's a free agent. What a disappointment.

He threw 20 pitches in a bullpen session a few days ago. The Orioles must decide whether to shut him down over the winter, or have him throw in the fall league. But... isn't his contract with them over as soon as the last game of the world series ends? Or something? I know he's a free agent next year. Perhaps the Cubs are interested!

Pitched two innings. Elbow soreness.
They should tender him an offer for the minor league minimum next year, and if he doesn't like it he can walk.
In fact, he probably should walk, to a team that actually has the ability to develop pitchers. He's wasted four years or so here, but he might still salvage a career if he can find competent instructors.

Doesn't he have to be on the ML roster next year or he can walk?

Doesn't he have to be on the ML roster next year or he can walk? Good point, he is out of options due to signing a contract before they changed the minor league contracts with the last CBA. So, they'd have to offer him the major league minimum salary. There's no reason to waste any more money on a player who appears to be a bust.
