Well if it screws up like digital TV did to me they can jam it where the sun dont ever shine.
I used tp be able to get Channels 2 4 5 7 9 11 13 and 16.
4 7 9 never work 5 11 maybe 50% 13 75% of the time 16 about 95%.,

I only ever use FM in the car these days, the house is all digital.

I only ever use FM in the car these days, the house is all digital. While several radio stations in the Baltimore area broadcast digitally, there is not exactly a large selection of inexpensive digital receivers available in these parts. When buying a television at Radio Shack several years ago I saw a digital radio receiver on clearance for $50. I'm still kicking myself for not buying it. I looked into buying a digital radio tuner card for my computer a while back and could only find a commercial model that picked up 4 stations at once and was quite expensive. I'll have to see if things have changed. The problem with digital is that you can't listen to a weaker signal; it will just start cutting out. And there is just something neat about picking up a distant analog signal from a large radio station late at night. I once picked up WBAL-Baltimore from the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. |

I still have FM, AM, SW and LW available but use DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) as a preference. I have dozens of available stations available to me. If you can find a small (cheap) portable DAB receiver you can run it through your existing audio system, being digital, the sound quality will only be limited by your system.  A short antenna will vastly improve a weaker digital signal. |

Well, considering what's on radio these days, I just need to listen to NPR and whatever station airs the Phillies during baseball season. And the way the Phillies have been playing I may hang them out to dry soon too.  |
