We got the reading room!! I'm a big sci-fi nerd. My main reading staple, aside from cook books and the occasional history book.

Just finished "In the Garden of Beasts" by Erik Larson-about diplomacy and pre-war germany. Gave me a different perspective on that era.
Just started "Pompeii" by Robert Harris....I'll let you know.

Just started "Pompeii" by Robert Harris....I'll let you know. Pompeii?? Won't tell you what happens to the city in the end..hate to spoil it.....

Just started "Pompeii" by Robert Harris....I'll let you know. I recently read an old book; December 1941 by Craig Shirley. It's a day by day and almost hour by hour book of what Roosevelt, his staff and many of the major players were doing just after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
There's some pretty heavy chit in that book.
