Ravens vs Steelers Thursday, October 1, 8:25 PM on CBS, NFLN Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers
0-3 Ravens face Mike Vick on Thursday night due to a Big Ben knee injury. Obviously we HAVE to win this one, but can this horrendous defense hold a lead?

The longer Vick plays, the safer dogs are, that much is true. Because you know as soon as he's done with football it will be back to dog fighting, and he will eventually be caught again.

Pittsburgh fans are really torn about bringing in Vick. some of the steeler fans on facebook were really pissed off but suddenly that attitude has changed. The ravens might have two of the slowest safeties in the league

If we're going to start a come back, this is the game to do it.

The ravens might have two of the slowest safeties in the league Slow and often out of position. Pees schemes are a joke. The secondary is garbage. Any quarterback that plays the Ravens and likes to pass is salivating at the upcoming meeting. Rumors swirl that Perriman is a head case and this is the real source of his troubles. If that's true, the Ozzie vs. wide receivers curse lives on.

Without Roethlisberger, the Ravens have a legitimate chance in this game. They will, however, be without Gilmore, who has a calf injury. That takes away one of the few targets Flacco has at his disposal. If the Ravens lose on Thursday, this season could start getting away from them in a big hurry. Once the losses start piling up, player motivation starts to wane and the more difficult it becomes to right the ship.

The Maxx Williams better step up.
My prediction is another back and forth game that they will lose in the fourth quarter.

They're playing way too conservative against Vick.
Ravens appeared to have things going offensively until that interception. That was a big momentum changer.

Lots of questionable decisions on the part of Tomlin in this game. Namely, putting the game in the hands of Michael Vick twice on fourth down when they have Le'Veon Bell. The Ravens should just be thankful that Josh Scobee seemed to think that you get one point for putting the ball on either side of the uprights.

Now it is time to begin discussing what need they fill with their top ten pick following their 2-14 season this year. And who the new coach will be. Hopefully the lighten that guy's paycheck a lot for spearing. Like, $50K. A game off wouldn't be out of line for deliberately trying to injure someone. But Goodell probably can't any more - one more reason why Brady should have taken his punishment like a man, instead of ruining the league's ability to punish wrongdoers. If there's justice, someone will ring Brady's bell and there won't be a penalty, suspension, or fine!

Yeah well at least he didn't trip anybody this time. If you're remembering that Jacoby Jones run, I think that was Tomlin who strayed onto the field. Or were you recalling some other incident?
