After going 1-3, the Dolphins parted ways with their head coach, Joe Philbin. His defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle is also likely to get the ax. It seems odd to fire a head coach mid-season. A coordinator, I could see, especially if the head coach decided he wasn't getting the job done. It will be interesting to see what the interim coach, the former tight ends coach, can do. Article

Philbin was already on thin ice after Miami lost three of its final four games last year and missed the playoffs. After Miami spent mega dollars on Ndamukong Suh and gave Ryan Tannehill a $100 million extension, Philbin was on notice. Management expects more than 1-3 after shelling out that kind of money.
London is becoming anathema to NFL head coaches. Oakland fired Dennis Allen last season after losing in London to. . .Miami.

I hear rumors that London will soon be mandatory (right now, teams can decline the "honor" if they choose). So coaches better get used to it.
