The Bengals beat the Bumble Bees on Sunday. Perhaps if the Bumble Bees had wings on the backs of their uniforms they would've done better...

Those uniforms are hideous; they look like something right out of the Hamburgler collection.
Steelers get Big Ben back yesterday, but lose Le'Veon Bell for the year to a knee injury. Maybe it's me, but there seem to have been an awful lot of season-ending injuries this season.

Those uniforms are hideous; they look like something right out of the Hamburgler collection. They make me grateful the Ravens are a young franchise! Steelers get Big Ben back yesterday, but lose Le'Veon Bell for the year to a knee injury. Maybe it's me, but there seem to have been an awful lot of season-ending injuries this season. I suspect it has to do with shorter camps and less preparation negotiated into the last agreement. That's fine, as long as the players understand they need to look after their fitness during the offseason (I'm looking at YOU, Lardarius Webb) so they come to came in good shape easily able to pass the fitness tests and ready to learn that year's schemes, instead of needing a half year or so to get in football shape. Strong muscles can support tendons and ligaments better. I would be curious whether the Ravens made some change to their turf this year. Especially last week it seems to have chewed on a few guys' joints. They use a kind of artificial grass that's filled to the desired height with a kind of rubber sand, IIRC. Chant is they can't grow grass in that stadium because the field is too low, so brackish water infiltrates.

It doesn't take much for something to bite this group. Remember, this isn't the Super Bowl year Jacoby. He had negative success with the Chargers.

If it looks like he's going to return a kick for long yardage, I better see Harbaugh step out in front of him!

Ben's body might be sending him a message his brain isn't smart enough to understand.

Ben's body might be sending him a message his brain isn't smart enough to understand. A defensive player fell on Roethlisberger's foot, which is more of a freak injury than any indication that he's ready for the scrap heap.

Ben's body might be sending him a message his brain isn't smart enough to understand. One can only lay a bike down so many times before they get into coherent conversations with Gary Busey.
