I wouldn't want to suggest what age limit would be appropriate but, if minimum age limits apply to voting, getting married, consensual sex, driving, joining the military, etc, etc. Then, I think that it is reasonable to set a minimum age limit for owning or shooting weapons.

I was 8 and winning youth awards. It's how you're trained, not the age.

I was 8 and winning youth awards. It's how you're trained, not the age. Don't be so silly. It's not all about you and it's not about how others are 'trained'. It is about age and anyone with a modicum of sense knows that. The only thing truly up for debate is: what age? Ravenchamps personal experiences notwithstanding.
