People are still talking about this team as if they could go 7-9 or even 8-8. I think finding two wins in the next six games is going to be a challenge.
We will see how they do against a decimated Bengals team that has a couple of important pieces missing from the jigsaw puzzle. They need to make a statement by winning decisively. They cannot lose, nor can they win they way they did against the Steelers, where the Steelers played so badly and Ben was ineffective due to recovering from an injury.
I expect them to once again be the victim of lackluster coaching as they have been most of the year. One or two consistent targets for Joe, and a sputtering offense. The loss of Green, who owns them, will help the secondary succeed, especially of Smith can play. With him back the defense ought to be able to keep the Bengals from scoring much. But can Joe put up points? He's been pretty bad so far this year.

Best performance yet Tucker is a kicking god I don't know. Flacco turned in another lackluster performance. Tucker basically bailed him and the team out.

After the opening drive touchdown, the Ravens never ran another play from the red zone. A win is a win, however, and the Ravens are back in first place for however long it lasts.

I have come to believe that their problems are the result of mediocre coaching. I think they need someone different. All coaches have an expiration date, it's just covered with that silver stuff they use on lottery tickets. Until it isn't.
