After a largely ineffective season, the Ravens have parted company with the return specialist. At 34, playing like he was 44. Article

I would imagine it had a lot to do with the fact that he doesn't want to take hits any longer. I saw him flinch away from catches on several occasions. I'd bet that touchback enraged Harbaugh. That was really the fault of whoever called that play (Marty or Joe) and failed to detect that the Pats had sniffed it out (Joe can't seem to read defenses well) - but the fact that they had to go from the one limited their choices, and I'm sure Hester was a good fall guy for that, given his lackluster performance most games this year. Whatever happens with Harbaugh, I certainly hope we don't see Marty here next year. The problem is, history teaches us that Harbaugh can't choose good offensive coordinators, and unless he also gets fired he'd be choosing Marty's replacement.

Michael Campanaro was signed to the 53-man roster this week. I'd guess that he'll be on the punt team, although he's yet to demonstrate that he's any kind of long-term solution. That guy can get hurt brushing his teeth in the morning.
